The Herkimer, NY German Street facility was erected by The Horracks Desk Co. prior to 1900. During September 1907, Mr. F.E. Hale, a designer of sectional bookcases purchased the facility of Horracks Desk, incorporated the company and bookcase manufacturing started. Mr. Hale retired in 1918. F.E. Hale Manufacturing was formed to exclusively produce and market the sectional bookcase. Hale 200 Signature Series Showcase Cabinet

Showcase Cabinet available in two sizes.

42" H Showcase Cabinet - Two adjustable glass shelves and glass top inlay. Hinged glass door.
78 1/2" H - Four adjustable and one fixed 3/8" thick glass shelves standard.
Clean line square edge design.
Vertical wood framework of 1" thick solid birch with safety glass installed on all three sides.
Hinged wood frame doors for full front access.
Sides and doors are stile and rail construction manufactured from solid birch. The solid birch center frame, birch bottom and sub top of solid veneer core plywood are tenoned and glued to the sides. Profiled wood tops secured to the sub-top with glue and hidden wood screws.
The showcase has a Hale quality finish of stains which are hand wiped oil over N.G.R. toner with lacquer sealer and top coat. All sapwood is shaded to give a uniform finish.
Standard with locks.
Available in Birch finishes only.
