The options available for the 200 series allow for easy design when setting up a new office or planning a room layout. Our 1" thick solid lumber core shelves with a 200 LB plus rating are up to any job. The matching 1" thick panels and top offer the sturdy appearance appreciated in any piece of well made furniture.Available in Oak, Birch or Walnut in six standard sizes and 16 standard finishes each bookcase has a matching 1.4" printed recessed back. Sturdy leveling glides on the bottom of each bookcase assist in installation. Whether ordering a single unit or multiple units with "flush" tops for end to end grouping the cut-down option makes the 200 series the attractive yet functional choice for filling any room or office space. Add hand-hung wood framed doors with glass or wood to the standard bookcase and the results will be a high quality bookcase with the fine cabinet appearance. Seven-step, hand finished in standard colors or special finished to match customer request, the Hale 200 series is the answer for quality bookcases at affordable pricing. Drawer Options:
Add variety to your storage needs by ordering the drawer option with any standard size bookcase. Installed above and below a fixed shelf, the drawer box is dovetail construction with a solid wood drawer front to create a unit that will meet your bookshelf and storage requirements.
CD Drawer - Front is 7.375"H and full inside width of Bookcase. Inside drawer dimensions: 4.5"H x 32"W x 9.25"D
Lateral File Drawer - Front is 12.5"H and full inside width of Bookcase. Inside drawer dimensions: 10.25"H x 33"W x 17.5"D

Sliding Door:
Choose between glass or wood veneered sliding doors in Walnut, Oak or Birch. Glass doors slide effortlessly on nylon wheels enclosed in the door shoe. Wood doors slide on glides that lock onto the track to prevent jumping. For a nominal fee, plunger locks may be installed in the metal door shoe.

Hinged Door:
For a more traditional cabinet look, the hinged door option is available. Made from solid woods, with stile and rail construction, the hinged door frame is offered with glass or wood inserts. Handcrafted and individually installed, the inset hinged door option is an attractive addition to any bookcase.

Magazine Racks / Newspaper Sticks:
Magazine rack fits on any open bookcase shelf and is available in both permanent and removable styles.
