chair, adjusting to fit the 5th to 95th percentile. With it's lateral
support contours gently cradling you in place, the 8000 Series chair promotes

both support and luxury, the 8000 Series creates a stress reducing sensory
experience while promoting movement and for optimum employee performance.
Ergonomists agree on the necessity of an adjustable headrest for reclined
tasks such as prolonged reading, viewing multiple monitors, interviews,
or talking on the phone. Without a supportive headrest, static loading
of the neck and shoulder muscles occurs, which can lead to headaches and
even back pain. Static loading is what happens when the muscles of the
neck are forced to support the weight of the head (approximately 10 lbs.)
on their own without a soft, adjustable headrest to help reduce the pressures
on those muscles.
