HÅG Futu provides the best of two worlds: an advanced interior based on HÅG’s new inBalance technology, and an exciting, streamlined exterior that allows for flexibility for use in different rooms. With its clean, continuous lines HÅG Futu can be perceived more as a piece of furniture than a technical aid, and it is designed to be in harmony with its surroundings. Even though HÅG Futu is fully functional, it nevertheless lacks long dominating levers and ugly knobs that disturb the visual expression. It is simple, easy to use and just as well suited to large office landscapes as to individual offices.

The HAG Futu chair is the first ever office seat with the newly developed technology we call inBalance. inBalance is a seat mechanism that ensures that you sit extremely comfortably and in balance, regardless of whether you are small and light or very tall and heavy. The chair follows your every movement – either stretching backwards or leaning forwards to your desk. And best of all, you are in control of the chair, not vice versa. Want to know which position is the best? It’s always the next one! An ergonomic chair is a chair that follows you naturally into the next sitting position. HÅG FutuKnit:
FutuKnit is a knitted fabric specially designed for HÅG Futu. The material is shape-knitted to ensure it precisely fits the back and seat. Folds and unnecessary seams are also avoided. The newly-developed fabric complies with HÅG Futu’s Simple Surface – Complex Core concept. The exterior of the fabric looks modern and simple, but behind the surface there are several layers of material that have been knitted together using advanced 3D machines. The fabric has good elastic properties while also maintaining stability and the feeling of comfort. FutuKnit is designed with a discreet and subtle relief structure that breaks with the light in subdued diagonals. The fabric has a range of colors that can easily be combined and suit different environments. Eight attractive and harmonious FutuKnit colors are available for the seat and back.

Environment:
As a responsible, sustainable member of society, HÅG strives for and shall at all times provide sitting solutions where all considerations are taken into account. We impose the strictest environmental requirements on both manufacture and choice of materials. HÅG is registered as an environmentally conscious company within the EU arrangement EMAS (Eco Management Audit Scheme), and has environmental management systems in accordance with NS-ISO 14001. In 2005 HÅG took the initiative to make its entire value chain CO2 free by voluntarily subscribing to green electricity certificates and sourcing electricity from renewable resources. HÅG Futu is manufactured using a minimum of resources. Only seven different material types are used in total, including the textile. No environmentally harmful materials are used and 97% of the chair can be recycled. In common with all of HÅG’s chairs, the environmental profile for HÅG Futu will be documented in the Environmental Product Declaration (EDP) – in accordance with ISO 14025. HÅG Futu is also Greenguard certified, which guarantees that the chair has no harmful emissions.
